Review of Ile aux Canards island. Reviewed March 16, 2020 via mobile. Duck island- great snorkelling very close to shore. Huge variety of fish and turtles. Colourful coral well preserved. Taxi boats very busy have to wait ages to get on on a Sunday. Small island can walk around it in 10 minutes.

We did the green train tour in Noumea last week. Was such a fun way to see the city. The tour operators were very well organised & departed on time.. It's also cheaper too. The boat to the island operates return services most Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays, departing from Noumea at 7am leaving Isle of Pines at 5pm. It's a long day, but well worth it. We arrived to a picture-perfect setting - white sandy beaches, aqua water and clear blue skies.
